Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing RWCC for your vehicle inspection needs. These terms and conditions outline the basis of our agreement, our services, and how we handle your data. By booking an inspection with RWCC and using our website, you agree to these terms. Please review them carefully and contact us with any questions.
1. Who We Are
Our website address is http://rwccbrisbane.com.
2. Bookings
2.1 Booking Process
To make a booking, you must provide us with the details of the vehicle and the contact information of the owner. RWCC will contact the owner to arrange a mutually convenient time and date for the inspection.
2.2 Confirmation and Payment
We will notify you of the inspection date via email, and payment will be processed at that time. Inspections are conducted Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. Inspections outside of these hours may incur a surcharge of up to $60. Exceptions for Saturdays or public holidays may be made.
3. Our Inspections
3.1 Non-Intrusive Inspections
Our inspections are visual and non-intrusive, meaning we do not dismantle any parts of the vehicle. The inspection provides a general overview and should be considered as a guide only. We do not test internal components such as engine compression, transmission, oil consumption, or chassis alignment.
3.2 Specific Checks
• We assess the vehicle’s alternator charge rate but do not load-test batteries.
• A visual check of brake rotors is performed without measuring disc thickness.
• We test the vehicle’s standard self-test warning systems.
• Road tests are conducted in the area surrounding the inspection site, but only if the vehicle is roadworthy and registered.
3.3 Limitations
We do not test driver aids, automated self-parking systems, or any systems that prevent full control during testing. We also recommend checking for any Takata airbag recalls via this link.
4. Inspection Report
4.1 Report Delivery
Upon completion of the inspection, we will email you a detailed report outlining the findings. This report will indicate the items inspected and whether any issues were identified.
4.2 Limitations of the Report
Our report is based on visual inspection and does not include dismantling or internal checks unless necessary. We do not indicate if a part has been replaced or repaired unless it’s critical to the inspection.
5. Fees and Cancellations
5.1 Payment
The cost of the inspection must be paid in full via a major credit card at the time of booking. RWCC reserves the right to refuse inspection or reporting on any vehicle.
5.2 Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations made with more than 12 hours’ will incur a $30 administration fee. The remaining balance can be refunded or held as credit.
• Cancellations made with 12 hours or less notice will incur a $90 administration fee. The remaining balance can be refunded or held as credit.
• If we arrive at the inspection site and cannot complete the inspection due to circumstances beyond our control, the full inspection fee will still be charged.
6. Complaints
If you have any concerns or are dissatisfied with the inspection, please contact our office by phone or email at rwwc.brisbane@gmail.com to discuss a resolution.
7. Warranties and Guarantees
7.1 Australian Consumer Law Compliance
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. RWCC is not liable for any damage to the vehicle during transportation. We recommend using an enclosed carrier for long-distance transport.
7.2 Legal Modifications
RWCC does not verify the legality of aftermarket modifications. We recommend checking with local authorities regarding the legality of any modifications.
